Why am I being asked to sign back into the Wessex Searches website midway through processing a search?
For your security, our system will automatically sign you out when your session has been inactive for more than 20 minutes. However, your search will be saved as a draft and when you sign back in, it will be visible for you to complete.
I have added an additional email address to the search results but the recipient did not receive the results?
Once you have added the additional recipient email address, you must select the tick box next to the address within the drop down menu on the Order Summary page prior to submitting the order.
I submitted a search request before 12pm. Why does the expected delivery date differ by one day against your website’s estimated return date?
When a search order is submitted, our estimated delivery date begins from the following working day after your search was submitted.
How do I cancel a search order I have placed?
From the My Searches landing page, please select the search order ID you wish to cancel. You will be directed to the Search ID Order Summary page. To raise a request to cancel an order, select the button named Raise cancellation request located at the bottom of the page under Search Order communication history. Please note that orders in progress, partially or fully completed may be subject to charges if a cancellation request has been raised. When raising a cancellation request, you can view responses in the Search Order communication history section by clicking the collapsible + sign.
How do I raise a query against a search order I have placed?
From the My Searches landing page, please select the search order ID you wish to query. You will be directed to the Search ID Order Summary page. To raise a query and/or add additional information and/or products to your order, select the button named Raise query/Add information located at the bottom of the page under Search Order communication history. When raising a query, you can view responses in the Search Order communication history section by clicking the collapsible + sign.
What Internet browsers are supported?
Internet Explorer 9 and above, Mozilla FireFox and Google Chrome.
My pointer on Draw a boundary does not align correctly, what can I do?
Make sure that your browser is zoomed in at 100%. If the problem continues after you have changed the level to 100%, save the search as a draft and restart your browser.

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE/RESUBSCRIBE

How do I unsubscribe from the Wessex Searches service?
1. Log into the searches website
2. On the My Searches page, select the My Account tab
3. Select Update my details on the My Account page
4. Select Edit details/Change password on the Update my details page
5. Select the Account tab located in the top right corner on the Profile page
6. Select the Manage button under Your Services
7. On Your Online Services page at the bottom select I don’t want to use this service any more.
8. Confirm or cancel by selecting either Yes or Cancel buttons
9. Enter your reason for unsubscribing from the searches service and select the Unsubscribe button located below.
Can I resubscribe to Wessex Searches using the same user credentials I provided on first registration?
Yes. When you sign in for the first time after unsubscribing from the Wessex Searches services, you will be asked to resubscribe to the service. In doing so, you are able to continue to use your original credentials.
