Terms and Conditions

1. Your personal information will be used in accordance with Wessex Searches' privacy policy available at Privacy policy (wessexsearches.co.uk). Please see also Clause 15 with regard to the announcement of winners.
2. The Promoter is:

3. This prize draw is exclusive to the Promoter's customers who complete the online survey (the “Survey”). ”). In order to participate in the prize draw and claim a prize, you must be a UK resident with access to the internet, aged 18 years or over. This offer is not open to any employees of the Promoter or any associated group companies or their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw.
4. The opening time and date for entries is 00:00 on 6 October 2025
5. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple submissions of the same survey or from the same person are automatically disqualified and will not result in additional entries into the prize draw
6. The Promoter will not accept entries that are:
   1. automatically generated by computer;
   2. completed by third parties or in bulk; or
   3. incomplete.
7. All entries must be submitted by completing the Survey. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions
8. In entering this prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to require you to provide evidence that you are eligible to claim the prize and its decision in relation to a person's eligibility to enter the prize draw and claim the prize will be final
9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.
10. The closing date for the prize draw is 17 October 2025. All entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 23:59 on the closing date. Entries received outside this time period are automatically disqualified and will not be considered.
11. The Promoter is offering those who enter this prize draw a chance to win a £50 National Trust Digital Gift Card. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable and non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative offered.
12. One winner will be selected from all valid entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions by use of a random number generator on 20 October 2025. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. The winner will be notified by email (using the details provided at entry) before 27 October 2025. Once they confirm their acceptance of the prize, a link to claim the prize will be sent to the email address they have provided within seven days of their acceptance. If the winner does not respond to the Promoter within 21 days of being notified by the Promoter, rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms and conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter shall be entitled to select another winner. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
13. By claiming a prize, you accept that the prize is not manufactured or sold by the Promoter and it is provided only as an incentive to participate in the Survey. The Promoter and any associated group companies will not, in any circumstances, be liable to compensate the winner for any loss, expense, damage, personal injury or death occurring (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this prize draw or as a result of taking up the prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so. Likewise, in the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this prize draw without prior notice
15. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of prize winner and to anyone who emails contactus@wessexsearches.co.uk within one month after the closing date stated in condition 10. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please select the relevant opt out when completing the survey. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and to hold, void, suspend, cancel or amend this prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
17. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of England and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England, including the seeking of all injunctive or ancillary relief actions.
